6:30 PM | Welcome Speech by Lari Cummings-Ongoco, PCFI Chairman and Arnell Biglete, PhilFest 2016 Chairman
PCFI Chairman Lari Cummings-Ongoco and PhilFest 2016 Chairman Arnell Biglete will officially welcome all guests and participants at PhilFest 2016.
6:45 PM | Tallahassee Community College Dance Company [Sinagtala Theater]
Now on its 14th performing season, the Tallahassee Community College Dance Company graces the PhilFest stage every year. Director and choreographer Aurora Torres-Hansen creates pieces that are folkloric based using movement and music by Filipino composers and interjecting modern and ballet dance in the choreography.

7:45 PM | Philippine Cultural Night [Sinagtala Theater]
Opening Cultural Show by PCFI’s cultural arms: Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble (directed by Nhick Ramiro Pacis), Philippine Choral Group (conducted by Connie Chanrasmi) and Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc. (choreographed by Joey Omila) with special guest beauty queens Mrs. PhilFest 2015 Mary Yasol, 2015-2016 National Amreican Miss Michaela Abelgas and 2015 National American Miss Teen Florida Keisha Abelgas. The show culminates with “Grandes Valses de las Islas Filipinas”, a medley of popular Philippine waltzes.

Singing Competition for Adults with with special guest comedian Rex Navarrete.
9:30 PM | Just4Shw Band [Sinagtala Theater]
A group of young Fil-Am musicians get together every year to perform original upbeat compositions.

10:00 AM | Mariana Trench Band [Sinagtala Theater]
Mariana trench Band is an all-Filipino band that plays multi-genre music from the 70’s to the most recent hits, from rock to ballads, some originals and, of course, Pinoy music!
11:00 AM | Luzviminda Arnis/Kali Brotherhood [Sinagtala Theater]
Luzviminda Arnis Kali Brotherhood (L.A.K.B.) is a Filipino martial arts organization that aims to propagate the Filipino martial culture both in its classical form as well as it’s modern interpretation. The aim is to teach an all-around knowlege of all the Filipino weapons as well as proficiency with empty hands. Luzviminda Arnis is not a sport but purely combat-oriented fighting art. The goal is to train highly skilled fighters who will later on go on to become highly skilled teachers, preserving the art for generations to come. Over 55 years of study in the Filipino martial arts has resulted iin the formulation of the Luzviminda Arnis style.

The Philippine American Cultural Organization (PACO) presents a Philippine Fiesta production as choreographed by Baberly Dunn.
11:45 AM | Tallahassee Community College Dance Company [Sinagtala Theater]

Ancient Philippine flutes performance by Tribal Sounds Music.
12:30 PM | Brandon Cantilang [Sinagtala Theater]
Brandon is a 13-year old actor, model, talent for Christ from Atlanta, GA and was the Tanghalang Pambata winner at PhilFest 2014. He had done TV commercials for Kids Rooms To Go, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Belk, Dayspring Ecard,Voice Today,Technology Learning Center and Synnex. He appeared on films/shows like “Sunday Morning Rupture”, “The Solomon Bunch”, “Madea’s Witness Protection”, “Chippewa Treasure”, “The Super Fun Show”, “Veggie Headz”, “Talk Of The Town Show” and “Atlanta Live Show”. He also appeared on theater shows like “Charlotte’s Web”, “Annie” and Disney’s “Aristocats Kids”. He made front acts for Randy/Pops Fernandez, Rico J and Aegis concerts in Atlanta. He is currently working as one of the major casts of kids show for Wonder Video/Rethink group. On a sideline he is just a regular kid who loves to play with friends and do video games as well as go to school on a regular basis.

Special choreographed production by the 4Ever40 Sisterhood Association and its Young Sisters Dancers. 4Ever40 Sisterhood is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to empower women through education in order to become self-sufficient.
1:00 PM | Zumba Dancing with We R Fit Studio [Sinagtala Theater]
With 20 years martial arts background and a strong fitness streak, We R Fit Studio, LLC was cfreated to emphasize the latest group fitness classes geared towards a fun atmosphere where all can come and enjoy getting fit together. Zumba and HOT HULA for all ages and fitness levels – come and enjoy the fun musical atmosphere while you dance and sweat to the latest music with that Latin flair.

Philippine Folk Dances by Indak Pambata, the children’s group of the the Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc.
2:30 PM | Philip Mahoney [Sinagtala Theater]
Philip Mahoney is an International Fil-Am Recording Artist from the Philippines, currently under Viva Entertainment. He is back in the States to promote his ‘Self-titled’ album which features Sarah Geronimo in their single, “Into The Sun”. Philip is a Saxophonist and Singer, but can also play Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Ukulele and Flute. He also released his first Tagalog single and Music Video, “Naaala’la Kita” on MTV Philippines and MYX. Philip also had the opportunity to do another Music Video with YouTube Musician, David DiMuzio in their song “Sa Iyong Mga Mata”. The Filipino Channel (TFC) presents Philippine’s Prince of Movies and Television, Gerald Anderson with comedian-singer Poca Rafael and Balitang America’s Don Tagala in an hour of fun at PhilFest 2016!
4:15 PM | Presentation and Talent Portion of Ms./Mrs. PhilFest 2016 Participants [Sinagtala Theater]
Once more, Ms./Mrs. PhilFest 2016 are introduced to the public as they show off their talents to the public.
4:30 PM | Tribute to Filipino and American Veterans with Cheryl Badiola and Don Bronto [Sinagtala Theater]
Singers Cheryl Badiola and Don Bronto serenade Filipino and American Veterans with patriotic songs. Cheryl Badiola is a Tawag ng Tanghalan winner while Don is a nurse and works as a Community Health Nurse Coordinator for the BayPines Healthcare system.
4:30 PM | TFC Celebrities “Meet-and-Greet” [Bayanihan Arts and Events Center]
Meet-and-Greet session with Gerald Anderson, Poca Rafael and Don Tagala at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center brought to you by ABS/CBN TFC. Limited seating only.
5:00 PM | GRAND FLORES DE PHILFEST PARADE [PhilFest Grounds]
Grand Flores de PhilFest (Flowers of PhilFest) parade is a replica of Flores de Mayo in the Philippines, this grand parade around the PhilFest grounds presents muses and their escorts as they march around the festival grounds in exquisite Filipino attires.
6:00 PM | Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble [Sinagtala Theater]
Performing for more than ten years now, Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble, directed by Nhick Ramiro Pacis continues to entertain through special arrangements and compositions as played on a set of tuned bamboo tubes called Angklungs
6:15 PM | Philippine Choral Group [Sinagtala Theater]
With an extended membership consisting of Filipino-Americans from a more varied range ethnicity, age and profession, bound together by the passion for singing. Under the continued leadership of its founder, PCFI Board Member Olive Santiano, and the music directorship of former Philippine Madrigal Singer, Connie Chanrasmi, the group has participated in almost every Filipino-American event in the Tampa Bay Area.
6:30 PM | Lilac Cana [Sinagtala Theater]
Lilac Cana is a Canadian producer,and recording artist with seven CD albums, who inspires people worldwide with her music. An honours graduate of the University of Toronto Opera Performance Program, and a scholarship recipient with the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, she also trained extensively in classical, musical theatre and contemporary music styles with some of the world’s best vocal coaches. Her performance career highlights include four years with the Canadian Opera Company Chorus, lead roles in opera and music theatre productions and concert soloist engagements with orchestras and choirs in Canada, the United States, Europe, and the Philippines.

Established in 1991, PPAC presents Philippine culture through dance, music, costume and art. Directed and choreographed by Joey Omila, the group performs extensively throughout Florida and other US states.

“PhilFest Revolution” is an annual dance competition and showcase where teams from all over the state of Florida come together to compete with one another displaying the dances of Filipino culture with a mix of hip-hop.

11:30 AM | Alliance Gospel Tabernacle Worship Team [Sinagtala Theater]
The Alliance Gospel Tabernacle Worship Team leads the congregation of the Alliance Gospel Tabernacle Church of New Port Richey into corporate worship every Sunday morning and at other church-related functions. The group played front-act for Michael Davis last June at PCFI in 2015.
12:00 Noon | Beyond Chaotic Band [Sinagtala Theater]
Beyond Chaotic is a kids rock band that was born out of a rock band camp. All the members are between ages 8-12, two of whom are Filipino-Americans.

2:00 PM | YUGYUGAN 2016 [PhilFest Grounds]
Philippine Street Dancing Competition between organizations. “Yugyugan” mimics the huge street dancing events in various towns and cities in the Philippines which are normally held during special festivals to honor patron saints, celebrate bountiful harvests or commemorate local pride in music, art and crafts. These are usually huge productions in full costumes and elaborate choreography as the townsfolk go about dancing in the streets.
