Photo Contest at PhilFest 2016
Once again, the office of Cultural Affairs of the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. (PCFI) is introducing this first-ever photo competition to everybody regardless of age and race, professional or amateur, in order to add another competitive excitement within the community at large attending PhilFest every year and at the same time start collecting memorable photos of past PhilFest for future generations to see and enjoy.
Photo Contest at PhilFest 2016: Eligibility
- Open to anybody with a camera or a camera phone
- No age limit
- Need not be a Filipino or Filipino-American
- Open to Professional and amateur photographers
Subject
- All subject MUST be have taken at recent or any past PhilFest
- Subject can be anything you see at PhilFest
- Photos can be Black & White or colored
- Photos may be retouched digitally or any other special effects
Entries and Submissions
- A small donation of $5.00 per entry is required payable to PCFI upon submission of entry or entries
- You can submit as many entry as you wish, no limit
- All entries MUST be 8” x 10 “and MUST be mounted
- All entries MUST be properly labeled at the back with name, age, address, email, and contact phone number.
- All entries to the Photo Contest at PhilFest 2016 will be sold to the public after the competition, except the top three winning entries and some entries the foundation wishes to keep. The winning entries will automatically be properties of the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc.
- All entries MUST be submitted on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Bayanihan Arts & Events Center located at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, Florida 33626 between 10 am and 6 pm.
- Winners will be chosen on Thursday, April 14, 2016 by the PCFI Board and Officers
- All entries will be on display during the Philippine Embassy “Outreach Program” on April 15th to the 17th 2016.
- The Decision of the board of judges is final.
