PhilFest Revolution 2016

Filipino-American youth will rock at “PhilFest Revolution” on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 7:30 PM as the annual dance competition and showcase will be held at the Sinagtala Theater of the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex (aka PhilFest Grounds) located at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, FL 33626.

“PhilFest Revolution” is where youth teams from all over the state of Florida and even from neighboring states come together to compete with one another through contemporary dances and choreography infused with traditional Filipino dances.

“PhilFest Revolution” is one of the main events at PhilFest, the biggest Filipino festival in Florida. It is attended by over 15,000 spectators and participants each year to get a glimpse of Philippine culture through cultural dances, songs, foods, exhibits, fashion shows, colorful parades and processions. The PhilFest Grounds will come alive with a festival atmosphere and vendors booths will be decorated with colorful Philippine motifs.

Many thanks to the efforts of Prima Alonzo and Michelle Lebrias, co-chairs of the event, and their advisor, Lucy Bautista and to the countless youth volunteers for successfully coordinating this event every year at PhilFest.
