AKBF: St. Joseph the Worker Fiesta 2018

Ang kaliwat Bol-Anon sa Florida, Inc. will be celebrating St. Joseph the Worker Fiesta on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church Family Center in Tampa Florida. This includes a thanksgiving mass which starts at 11:30AM with Fr. Hugh Chikawe as main celebrant, Fr. Jonathan Loverita as co-celebrant and  with the Philippine Choral Group leading the community singing.

Pope Pius IX proclaimed Saint Joseph the patron of the Universal Church in 1870. Having died in the “arms of Jesus and Mary” according to Catholic tradition, he is considered the model of the pious believer who receives grace at the moment of death, in other words, the patron of a happy death. St. Joseph is also the Patron saint of Bohol, Philippines.
