Pasko 2018
Experience Philippine Christmas in the Tampa Bay Area as the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. in cooperation with the Ang Bisaya of Florida, Inc. (ABF) bring you PASKO 2018 at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center on Sunday, December 23, 2018 from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 PM!
At $3.00 (free for children 5 and under), guests will be able to experience traditional Christmas like how it is celebrated back in the Philippines – lavish, fun and spiritual as Christmas should be!
At PASKO 2018, there will be non-stop entertainment by local Tampa Bay artists, ensembles and other Filipino-American organizations. The Philippine Choral Group, Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc. and Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble will also render traditional and modern carols and dances.
A Christmas festival will not be complete without a Christmas Pageant. PASKO 2018 will feature a special nativity presentation by the First Baptist Church of Safety Harbor.
Lots of games for children and adults alike will be held all throughout PASKO 2018 with fun prizes. Each member organization of the Foundation will also be competing for the best Christmas Tree presentation.
At PASKO 2018, there will be loads of traditional food and merchandise for purchase. Various Fil-Am vendors are invited to bring you putobumbong, pancit, halo-halo, kakanin and other delicacies!
Gift-Giving at PASKO 2018
Everyone is encouraged to bring special gifts for their family and friends to be distributed by Santa! The kids will really enjoy this!
Simbang Gabi
Everyone is invited to the final Simbang Gabi novena mass which will also be held at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center at 7:00PM, right after PASKO 2018. Invited celebrant is Rev. Fr. Bill Swengros, JCD, pastor of St. Paul Catholic Church in Tampa, Florida. This event is coordinated by PCFI Board Members Lucy Bautista and Marly Balderama.
“Simbang Gabi” is a devotional nine-day series of Masses practised by Catholics and Aglipayans in the Philippines in anticipation of Christmas and to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. The masses are held daily from December 16 to December 24 in the early mornings.
