The Philippine Cultural Foundation’s Classical Concert Series aims to present classical programming at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center. This program has featured accomplished artists like the Philippine Madrigal Singers, St. Petersburg Community College Madrigalians, violinists Brant Taghap, Charles Korffmacher and Michael Rosario, pianists Nhick Ramiro Pacis, flutist Joshua Abrahan and many others.

Here are some photos from the Philippine Madrigal Singers Concert in Tampa, Florida on August 3, 2011 at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in Tampa, Florida. Led by its choirmaster, Mark Anthony Carpio, the 20-member Madz performed a mixed repertoire of light classics like the “William Tell Overture” by Gioacchino Rossini, popular tunes like “in The Mood” by Joe Graland and songs from “Mamma Mia” and a whole section of Filipino songs ranging from traditional to pop. They ended with a medley of nationalistic songs, “Isang Bansang Mapayapa”, arranged by Chris Borela and Lion King’s “The Circle of Life” for an encore.
