Consulate-on-Wheels 2014 on April 2-4, 2014
Once again, the Embassy of the Philippines will organize a Consular Outreach in Tampa, Florida from Wednesday to Friday, April 2-4, 2014, culminating in a Dual Citizenship Ceremony at 4PM on April 4 as a grand opening event at PhilFest 2014.
Aptly called “Consulate-on-Wheels”, the Consular Outreach services will be held at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center’s Cimafranca Library. These services include:
- Issuance of passports, travel documents and visas;
- Conduct of consular outreach programs;
- Consularization (authentication/acknowledgment) of documents, such as SPAs, Deeds, school and medical records, Trademarks, oaths and appointments, etc.;
- Civil registration of births, marriages and deaths of Filipino nationals;
- Processing of applications for dual citizenship; and
- Assistance with the following:
- a. Transport of pets to the Philippines;
- b. Applying for NBI clearances;
- c. Renewal of Philippine driver’s license;
- d. Medical Missions to the Philippines
- e. Securing of J-1 waivers
REQUIREMENTS, PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULES
The Bayanihan Arts and Events Center is solely the venue for “Consulate-on-Wheels”. PCFI does not process any consular services nor accept any applications. All requirements, procedures and scheduling of services are done through the Philippine Consulate in Washington, DC. DUAL CITIZENSHIP CEREMONY
As culminating activity for “Consulate-on-Wheels”, there will be a Dual Citizenship Ceremony at the Sinagtala Stage at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex (aka, PhilFest Grounds) on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 4:00 PM. This will be the opening event at PhilFest 2014.
FEES
At the Consular Services at the Cimafranca Library, a $15.00 fee will be collected from each applicant payable via cash, check or credit card. This fee includes a gate ticket to PhilFest 2014. If paying by check, please make payment payable to “PCFI”. Please note that when bringing companions, friends or family members to the PhilFest site, they will have to pay $6.00 regular gate ticket rate. Advance gate tickets are also sold at $5.00 at selected stores in the Tampa Bay Area.
