Consulate-on-Wheels 2021 in Tampa
The Philippine Embassy in Washington DC, in coordination with the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc., is pleased to announce that it will conduct a Consular Outreach Mission in Tampa, Florida from Friday, November 5, 2021 to Sunday, November 7, 2021. For each day, the Consular Service will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, and from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
At the same dates, PhilFest 2021 will be celebrated at the Philippine Village (aka PhilFest Grounds) in the same facility of the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex. We encourage our guests to visit the festival as well!
Steps on How to Secure an Appointment
- Visit the link for the online appointment which will be posted on 11 October 2021 at 9:00 am
- Applicants with Report of Birth or Report of Marriage shall file their applications by mail prior to the visit of the Consular team to Tampa, FL;
- Carefully check the list of requirements for passport, and ensure that you bring all the required documents with the number of copies as specified on the website;
- All fees are payable in cash or money order (payable to the “Philippine Embassy”). Personal checks are not accepted. Passport Renewal is $60; Lost Passport is $150;
- All applicants are required to provide a self-addressed return USPS envelope, with tracking number and Priority Mail Flat Rate postage ($7.95);
- In Tampa, there will be NO entrance fee to be paid at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center, but parking fees may apply.
- Guests will be encouraged to visit PhilFest 2021 at the Philippine Village. General admission is $8.00, children 5 and under and military veterans are FREE.
Reminders
- You will be allowed entry into the consular outreach venue only 10 minutes before your appointment time.
- Only applicants will be allowed to enter unless needing special assistance.
- Temperature checks will be mandatory. Applicants who are not feeling well or with an above normal temperature will not be allowed to enter.
- Face masks or coverings are required while inside the venue.
- Applicants are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizers and pens.
- Social distancing shall be strictly observed.
