Christmas in March: Musikong Kawayan Performs at All Nurses Assisted Living Facility

The Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble performed a post-christmas show at the All Nurses Assisted Living Facility in Tampa, Florida on March 23, 2014 as part of the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc.’s  outreach program to bring Philippine music to those who are not physically able to attend the ensembles performances at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center and other venues.

Located at 8701 North 34th Street, Tampa, FL 33604, All Nurses ALF offers intermediate care for individuals who cannot reside on their own in an independent living, but do not need the full-time health care services of a nursing home. At performance time, there were about eight residents with special needs.

Musikong Kawayan performed a thirty-minute show consisting of Filipino ethnic, folk and classic songs and some western standard repertoire. The group was conducted by Nhick Ramiro Pacis.

All Nurses ALF is owned and managed by Ed and Leila Taghap.
