ARTE On-the-Spot Art Competition 2015

The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. (PCFI) is organizing the second “On-The-Spot Art Competition” on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Philippine Village (aka PhilFest Grounds) at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive in Tampa, Florida to recognize and encourage artistic talents from the community at large and also promote the beautiful cultures of the Philippines and develop camaraderie among all talented artists in the Tampa Bay Area.

Lilac Cana: A Winter Serenade at the BAEC

The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. Classical Concert Series Program is proud to present a dynamic, versatile and award-winning Filipino-Canadian Lilac Cana in a mid-winter concert entitled “A Winter Serenade” at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center’s Sampaguita Ballroom on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 3:00 in the afternoon. Guest artists will include our very own baritone Vic Omila, Jr. and pianist Nhick Ramiro Pacis. “A Winter Serenade” will be a cozy afternoon of Philippine kundimans and folk songs, opera and Broadway favorites and popular tunes

Many thanks to all who came to watch “Bamboo and Strings” at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center on Sunday, October 5, 2014! The concert, presented by the Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble, was attended by several hundred guests from the Tampa Basy Area. It also featured Bayside String Quartet composed of violinists Sandy and Elizabeth Kitts, violist Sam Headlee and cellist Rebecca Bialosky with bassist John DiMura and pianist Robert Jarosh. The Philippine Performing Arts Company and the Philippine Choral Group also rendered a few numbers.
