Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble 17th Annual Concert

The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. regrets to inform the public that due to existing Covid-19 related restrictions and for the health and safety of the general public, the Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble 17th Annual Concert has been cancelled.
The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. Music, Theater, Dance and Art Program presents Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble 17th Annual Concert on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 3PM at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in Tampa, Florida.
Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble 17th Annual Concert will feature the 30-member bamboo ensemble directed by Nhick Ramiro Pacis in an afternoon of Philippine and contemporary music. Now on its 17th year, the ensemble has had quite a presence in the Tampa Bay Area with performances around the region and surrounding counties and cities in Florida.
Guest ensembles at the annual concert include the Philippine Choral Group (Conducted by Connie Chanrasmi), Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc. (Directed by Joey Omila) and Indak Pambata (Directed by Judy Sibayan). All these groups, including Musikong Kawayan, are cultural arms of the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc.
Costumes are designed by Joey Omila while stage sounds and lighting will be directed by RJ and Ray Dudgeon.
The Bayanihan Arts and Events Center is located at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, FL 33626.
The Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble, now on going on 17 years continue to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience performing in various locations in the Tampa Bay Area. Classes are also offered at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center every Saturday at 10AM. These classes are free to the public in line with PCFI’s mission to share Philippine music with the to the area and the nation as a whole.
