PAAT Celebrates 38th Anniversary
On Friday, February 21, 2014 at 7 pm, the Pilipino-American Association of Tampa Bay (PAAT) is inviting everyone to come to its dinner-dance at the Bayanihan Arts & Events Center to celebrate its 38th year anniversary since its founding. This year’s fun-theme will be “The Great Gatsby.” Like all past PAAT events, “this party will be an evening of fun, lots of dancing and no long speeches,” says newly re-elected President Joey Omila. Guests are encouraged to come in their “roaring 20’s” look and get ready to dance the Charleston! Live music for all our dance enthusiasts will be provided by Rhythm in Motion Band.
What is the “Gatsby” look? Circa 1920’s with fringes, head bands, feathers and net stockings for ladies and white or striped suits with matching shoes and gangster hats for men! Black and white look with white suit and black shirt. Or Bonny and Clyde look!
Cost to attend is $50 per person or $500 for a Reserve table for 10. Reservation is a must. To make your reservations, call: Joey Omila (812) 312-6518 or Agnes Strack (813) 731-7430 or Aurora Fortson (813) 390-8476 or Anita Gonong (813) 985-8425.
