Leyte Dance Theater: Padayaw II
The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. is pleased to welcome back the Leyte Dance Theatre in “Padayaw II”, a cultural dance showcase that highlights the richness of Philippine traditions. The performance will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Grand Sampaguita Ballroom of the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in Tampa, Florida.
This event also serves as PCFI’s Philippine Independence Day offering to the Filipino-American community, supporting the Foundation’s mission to preserve and share Philippine culture throughout Florida and the United States.

“Padayaw II”, part of the group’s 2025 USA tour, continues the legacy of founder Maestro Jesus “Jess” de Paz. The title comes from “Padayon sa Pagsayaw”, meaning continue dancing. This show follows their 2023 visit to Tampa Bay when they presented the original “Padayaw.”
The Leyte Dance Theatre has performed across the United States and abroad, earning multiple awards and recognition. Their work reflects years of dedication to promoting Filipino dance, both on major stages and in local communities.
