Public Advisory on Upcoming Consular Outreach Missions

The Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. wishes to announce that the following Consular Outreach Missions have been tentatively scheduled for the remainder of the year 2020:
Raleigh/Durham, NC
September 25-26, 2020
Atlanta, GA
October 10-11, 2020
Miami, FL
October 31 – November 1, 2020
Birmingham, AL
November 28-29, 2020
Miami, FL
December 5-6, 2020
The Embassy wishes to note, however, that the conduct of these proposed outreach missions is still subject to final review and approval by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila.
The health and safety of the consular staff and transacting public also remain paramount.
Therefore, the outreach schedule is subject to any change that may be warranted by the circumstances. Clients are advised to wait for the appointment system for a specific outreach schedule to open before finalizing any travel plans or filing for any leaves of absence.

Embassy Resumes OV Registration

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Philippine Embassy in Washington DC resumed Overseas Voters Registration on 29 June 2020.
OV services, in line with consular services, were temporarily suspended on 16 March 2020 in view of the declarations of states of emergency in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia, and to help limit the community spread of COVID-19.
The Philippine Embassy in Washington DC resumed OV Registration on 29 June 2020 simultaneously with the resumption of limited consular services. While other consular services remain suspended, regular OV registration resumed on 06 July 2020, for applicants with appointment for passport services.

The Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. would like to remind the transacting public that all appointments for consular services in Washington, D.C. must be secured only through the Philippine Embassy website.
Availability of appointment for consular services for outreach missions WILL BE ANNOUNCED on the Embassy’s website. The link in securing appointment for consular outreach missions will be included on the announcement to be posted on the Embassy’s website.
SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT IS FREE.
The public is reminded NOT to transact with any third party or agent in securing an appointment to avail themselves of any consular service.
