Photos from Bamboo and Strings

Many thanks to all who came to watch “Bamboo and Strings” at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center on Sunday, October 5, 2014! The concert, presented by the Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble, was attended by several hundred guests from the Tampa Basy Area. It also featured Bayside String Quartet composed of violinists Sandy and Elizabeth Kitts, violist Sam Headlee and cellist Rebecca Bialosky with bassist John DiMura and pianist Robert Jarosh. The Philippine Performing Arts Company and the Philippine Choral Group also rendered a few numbers.

PPAC and Musikong Kawayan Participate at Experience Asia 2014

The Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc. and the Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble successfully presented Philippine dances and music at the recent “Experience Asia” 10th Asian Festival at the Bloxham and Lewis Parks in downtown Tallahassee on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
