PMS Presents Disaster Planning and Epidemic Control Seminar
Do you know what to do in case of a disaster? Do you know what to do in case of a Zika epidemic?
The Philippine Medical Society Gulf Coast Chapter, in cooperation with the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc., presents a seminar on disaster planning and epidemic control at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 2 to 4 PM. This seminar will teach participants about disaster preparedness should there be a Zika virus epidemic or an incoming hurricane. Bring the whole family and as many friends, neighbors and workmates as you can. This rare opportunity is being offered for free and is open to the public.
The seminar’s guest speaker will be Dr. Mark Asperilla, infectious disease and internal medicine specialist. Dr. Asperilla is also a well-known philantrophist, nationally recognized and one of this year’s Ellis Island Awardees, a distinction given to outstanding immigrants in the USA.
