Kennedy Space Center, Florida – Six members of the Philippine Performing Arts Company invaded the Boeing Headquarters last May 29th 2014 when they captivated their audience with their performance of rural dances that was presented to the Boeing executives and employees during their lunch break. The performance of the group was in conjunction with the Asian Pacific Heritage Month celebrations which ended on May 31st all over the United States. The groups performance was made possible by Filipina Boeing employee Teresa Bollig. Aside from a standing ovation, the group also presented individual accolades from Boeing and was treated to a VIP tour of the Kennedy Space Center. Members who absented themselves from work and school in order to grant this special request were April Barrido, Kristine Bui, Rein Candalario, Jonathan Sibayan, RJ Huntsinger, and Melissa Barrido who was visiting from San Diego and decided to tag along with the group and ended up also performing.
