The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc., in cooperation with EM-C Productions Events and Entertainment, presents Filipino sensation, Roland Abante in “My Story” on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center.
Roland Abante, a remarkable singer and composer from Cebu City, Philippines, captured the hearts of millions with his soul-stirring performance of “When a Man Loves a Woman” on America’s Got Talent 2023, Season 18. His powerful voice and emotional delivery not only impress the judges but also resonated deeply with audiences worldwide, propelling him forward in the competition. Roland’s journey from a humble beginning in 1978 to international stardom is a testament to his dedication and talent. His viral performances and the success of his commercially acclaimed album “Bunot” have solidified his place in the music industry.
In “My Story,” Roland Abante will share his musical journey, weaving through his personal and professional experiences that have shaped him into the artist he is today. He will be performing with Dr. Joel Sebag, with a special participation of Floridian Fil-Am, Jeanette Coker. This intimate concert, which is right after PCFI and PAAT’s “Barrio Fiesta and Santacruzan”, promises to be a heartfelt narrative through song, celebrating his roots and remarkable rise to fame.
