Sampaguita Ball 2010
On Saturday, October 16, 2010, Tampa’s Philippine Cultural Foundation will hold its 17th Annual Charity Event, “Sampaguita Ball 2010″, at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in Tampa. Proceeds of the Ball will benefit the Foundation’s cultural projects and the upkeep of the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex. Being a very formal affair, ladies are encouraged to wear any Maria Clara style or Filpiniana outfit or long evening gowns, while men may wear their Barong Tagalog or tuxedo. Tickets are $100 per person and once again, this year’s Ball is advance reservation and reserved seating only.
This year’s ball is co-chaired by sisters Liberty Galloway and Aurora Curioso. Members of the Sampaguita Committee are working very hard to make sure that all guests will have a wonderful time.
As in past years, there will be complimentary valet parking and open “Gold Bar” the whole night. Entertainment will be provided by the Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc., Philippine Choral Group and the Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble.
