Sampaguita Ball 2017
The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. is celebrating theSampaguita Ball 2017 on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center’s Grand Sampaguita Ballroom at 7:00 in the evening. This will be the 24th year of this prestigious Filipino-American Annual Charity Ball.
Priced at $100/$125 per person, “Sampaguita Ball 2017″, with the theme “An Evening of Dazzling Grandeur”, comes with a complete entertainment package consisting of complimentary valet parking, cocktails starting at 6:00 PM, Gold Open Bar, a full seven-course dinner catered by Hao Wah Restaurant and live performance of Lovestruck Robot Band with Vanessa Q for a total evening of dancing. Towards the later part of the night, cena de medianoche will also be available, consisting of coffee and assorted Philippine desserts.
At Sampaguita Ball, guests will be welcomed by a traditional Rigodon Dance by the Sampaguita Ball Ladies and their spouses as choreographed by Rein Candelario. The Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc., Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble and Philippine Choral Group will also be presenting a full entertainment number especially composed and arranged by Nhick Ramiro Pacis and choreographed by Joey Omila. This is a way for the three PCFI resident performing groups to say thank you as proceeds from this event will benefit the Foundation’s cultural projects.
Chairing the Sampaguita Ball Committee in this year’s fundraising ball is Marly Balderama, PCFI Treasurer and Member of the Board. She will be fully supported by the Sampaguita Ladies’ Committee headed by Lucy Bautista.
Sampaguita Ball 2017 is a strictly black tie affair – ladies must be in Formal Long Evening Dress, Terno or formal Filipiniana attire while gentlemen must be in Black Tie attire or Barong Tagalog.
