Here’s a little vignette of this year’s Sampaguita Ball held at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center on Saturday, October 29, 2011. This is a preview of a recap DVD covering the entire event and will be available for purchase soon. The video was compiled by Ricci Ocampos of baipixelshd.com .

Sampaguita Ball is an annual formal charity event by the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. held during the onset of autumn. This year was attended by around four hundred fifty guests for a glamorous night of fine dining, cultural shows and dancing.

This year’s event was chaired by PCFI board member Helen Piloneo, backed by the Sampaguita Ladies Committee.

The evening was marked by performances by PCFI’s in-house performers, the Philippine Performing Arts Company, the Philippine Choral Group and and the Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble and the program was hosted by Joey Omila. Evelyn Rhythm-n-Motion also provided live band entertainment and the seven-course laureate dinner was prepared by Hao Wah Catering.

Proceeds from Sampaguita Ball will benefit PCFI’s cultural programs and improvements at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex, also known as “The Phillipine Village” or “PhilFest Grounds”.
