Stephanie Reese in Concert
Gawad Kalinga Hope proudly presents singer-actress Stephanie Reese, Filipina-American Broadway Star Live in Concert at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 8:00 PM.
Stephanie Reese was Kim in the German production of “Miss Saigon”, Esmeralda in the world premiere of Disney’s “Hunchback of Notre Dame” and Princess Tuptim in the West End revival of “The King and I” alongside Elaine Paige and Jason Scott Lee. She has also performed at New York’s Carnegie Hall and worked with Natalie Cole, Patti Labelle, Lionel Richie and famous Filipino artists like Lani Misalucha, Jose marie Chan and Martin Nievera.
Reese has also written a musical (“The Gifts”), an autobiography (“The Journey”) and has produced two solo albums, “Stephanie Reese at Her Best” and “This is My Life”. She has also committed her talents to several charities like Gawad Kalinga, Bantay Bata and American Red Cross.
Reese last visited Tampa during the GK Hope Forum and Fiesta in November, 2010, performing with Lani Misalucha.
