Philippine Cultural Exhibit 2017
The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. presents “Philippine Cultural Exhibit 2017” at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center during PhilFest 2017. The exhibit area will be open on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 10AM to 4PM and on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 10AM to 4PM. The exhibit will feature art, music and fashion with a wide array of Philippine textiles. There will also be live entertainment by the Tallahassee Community College Dance Company.
The gowns on exhibit this year are collections from different Filipino couturiers from the Philippines including designs by Edgar Madamba, Richard Papa and Edgar San Diego. Barong Tagalogs are from the collection of Joey Omila, Cultural Director of the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. Traditional costumes are from the collections of the Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc.
Musical instruments displayed are from the Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble and from the Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc.
Paintings are on loan from talented Filipino artists in the Tampa Bay Area. These include works by Arnel Artus.

Entrance to the Philippine Cultural Exhibit is included in the gate entrance ticket. PhilFest 2017 will be held from April 7-9, 2017 at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex (Bayanihan Arts and Events Center and the PhilFest Grounds) located at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, FL 33626.
