Tawag ng Tanghalan 2025
The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. (PCFI) invites talented vocalists to participate in “Tawag ng Tanghalan”, a prestigious solo singing competition taking place during PhilFest 2025. This highly anticipated event will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, 8:00 PM at the Sinagtala Theater, 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, FL 33626
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Open to individuals 16 years of age or older.
Participants may compete with or without affiliation to a Filipino-American organization, county, or state. Previous 1st Prize winners of any past “Tawag ng Tanghalan” competition at PhilFest are not eligible to compete.
PERFORMANCE GUIDELINES
Contestants may perform with either a live accompanist (advance notice required for sound setup) or a recorded accompaniment (must be submitted via email upon application confirmation).
Performance duration must not exceed 5 minutes.
PRIZES
1st Prize: $500* | 2nd Prize: $300* | 3rd Prize: $200*
(*Winning contestants may be invited to perform on subsequent festival days.)
