PhilFest Photo Contest 2017
Now on its second year, the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. is offering PhilFest Photo Contest 2017, a photography competition to anyone at PhilFest! This competition is open to everyone regardless of age and race, professional or amateur. Eligible entries will be put on exhibit at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center. First prize winner will be awarded $500.
Eligibility
- Open to anybody with a camera or a camera phone
- Open to any legal US resident or any age
- Open to Professional and amateur photographers
Subject
- All subject MUST be have taken at present or any past PhilFest
- Subject can be anything you see at PhilFest
- Photos can be Black & White or colored
- Photos may be retouched digitally or any other special effects
Entries and Submissions
- A small donation of $5.00 per entry is required upon submission. Please make checks payable to PCFI.
- You may submit as many entries as you wish.
- All entries MUST be 8” x 10 “and MUST be framed/mounted.
- All entries MUST be properly labeled with the participant’s name, age, address, email, and phone number at the back of each entry.
- All entries MUST be submitted at the Bayanihan Arts & Events Center by 5PM on Friday, April 28, 2017.
- All elligible entries will be put on exhibit at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center during the month of May to June
- All entries will be sold to the public after the competition, except the top three winning entries and some entries the Foundation wishes to keep.
- Winners will be announced by Friday, June 9, 2017. First prize winner will be awarded $500.
PhilFest 2017 will be held at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex from April 7-9, 2017. The complex, comprising of the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center and the PhilFest Grounds, is located at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, FL 33626.
