Philippine Cultural Exhibit 2019
The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. presents a Philippine Cultural Exhibit 2019 on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10AM to 5PM and on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 10AM to 4PM at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center during PhilFest 2019. The exhibit will feature artifacts, art works, Philippine musical instruments and wide variety of traditional and modern Philippine costumes.
Live entertainment will be provided by the Tallahassee Community College Dance Company and other performers.
Gowns on exhibit this year are collections from different Filipino couturiers from the Philippines including designs by Edgar Madamba, Richard Papa and Edgar San Diego. Barong Tagalogs are from the collection of Joey Omila, PCFI Cultural Director. Traditional costumes are from the collections of the Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc. and Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble. Additional costumes are provided by private collectors.
Musical instruments displayed are from the Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble and from the Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc with some collected by PCFI.
Paintings are on loan from talented Filipino artists in the Tampa Bay Area. These include works by Arnel Artus and Gary Carabio.

Entrance to the Philippine Cultural Exhibit is included in the gate entrance ticket. PhilFest 2018 will be held from April 5-7, 2019 at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex (Bayanihan Arts and Events Center and the PhilFest Grounds) located at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, FL 33626.
